Steps Required for Sampling

Compartment Sampled:

Engine

Transmission

Any Compartment (Probalyzer II Bottle)

1.

Shut down vehicle/ equipment

Shut down vehicle/ equipment

Leave vehicle/ equipment operating

2.

Open oil pan drain plug

Cut length of new tubing

Remove protective cap from mini-gauge plug

3.

Allow oil to drain for 5-10 sec.

Insert tubing in Xtractor pump

Insert needle of the Probalyzer II bottle in mini-gauge plug

4.

Put bottle in fluid stream

Attach bottle to pump

Allow approx. 30 sec. for fluid pressure to fill the bottle

5.

Fill to 4 oz.

Open fill port on transmission

Remove needle from the mini-guage plug

6.

Clean off bottle

Insert tubing in port

Replace protective cap

7.

Put cap on bottle

Pump fluid

Top off fluids

8.

Complete drain

Push in pressure breaker to stop the flow of fluid

Fill out label

9.

Change the filter and refill with oil

Remove bottle from pump

Mail sample

Fill out label

Put cap on bottle

Mail sample

Top off oil
